  • DogTrust

    Operating since 1891, Dogs Trust is dedicated to ensuring the well-being of dogs in distress through rehoming, rehabilitation, and owner support services. They manage multiple rehoming centers across the UK and Ireland. 

  • Battersea

    Established in 1860, Battersea provides care and shelter to dogs and cats, aiming to find them loving homes. They also offer support and advice to pet owners.

  • Greater Good Charities

    Greater Good Charities is a charity program that distributes food to struggling shelters all over the world. Greater Good Charities operates on the national food bank model. They accept food donations from companies like Wonderwood

Proof of donation

We understand that online scams are a real concern. That’s why we provide full transparency in our donations. On the 15th of every month, we email proof of donation to all customers who purchased from us in the previous month.

We send these updates on the 15th because that’s when all funds from the previous month are processed and sent to our partner foundations.

  • Rocky

    My name is Rocky, and I was rescued in a cold place with no blankets, no warm bed, and no one to love me. When I had almost given up, I was rescued. My rescuers saw I had my little leg broken and quickly helped me. I struggle a bit to walk, but I can still enjoy all the yummy food from the Wonderwood club!

  • Berry & Chloe

    Hi! We are Chloe and Berry. We were found all alone in the cold, with no food, no warm place to sleep, and no one to care for us. Just when we thought we wouldn’t make it, kind rescuers took us in and gave us a second chance. Now, we have soft beds, full bellies, and so much love, while waiting for our new families to come and take us.

    My name is Lola. A few months ago, I lost my parents. They were getting older, and after my mom passed away, I was taken to a shelter. Even though it was heartbreaking, I stayed strong! Yesterday, I was gifted a bunch of food thanks to the amazing Wonderwood community. I’m so grateful for everything you do to help fur babies like me!

How Wonderwood Started

Wonderwood began with a rescue named Benjamin. In 2020, I (Andrea) adopted him from an owner who was struggling to care for him. While Benjamin adores his family, I soon discovered that he becomes overly protective around strangers.

After spending months training him so he could stay in our home, my heart opened to the countless abandoned animals who never get that second chance.

Many shelter animals have as little as 72 hours to find a home before facing euthanasia. Shelters are overwhelmed, struggling to provide food and care for the animals they take in.

That’s why I started Wonderwood—to help give every rescue a chance at their fur-ever home!
